All new tenants (entering the HBDC as of August 1, 2007) and renting one of the twenty-two 400 square foot office suites, would pay as follows:
$400 Security Deposit up front per suite leased.
- 1st through 5th month=tenant pays $225.00 per month rent
- 6th through 9th month=tenant pays $300.00 per month rent
- 10th through 12th month=tenant pays $375.00 per month rent
Starting on the 1st month of the second year=tenant pays $400 per month rent. Tenant continues to pay $400 per month rent for the next three years and then the tenant’s rent escalates at the following rate:
- Beginning year #5=tenant pays $500 per month rent
- Beginning year #6=tenant pays $600 per month rent
- Beginning year #7=tenant pays $700 per month rent
Rent continues to increase by $100 per month/per year on the anniversary of the tenant’s original least start date.
This progressive rent structure should allow for ease of entry and at the same time encourage needed graduations from the HBDC.
